Al Fresco Kitchens & Dining

Who doesn’t love al fresco dining? Whether under an umbrella on a sunny day or under the stars at night, eating outside can be delicious. Why not take it one step further with your own outdoor kitchen you can use spring, summer and fall?

According to the most recent report from the Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Association (HPBA), three in four adults in the U.S. own a grill or smoker. Expand the barbecue area to include key kitchen elements and voila!

Our ultimate outdoor kitchen* would include:

1.    Sink – outdoor water source, preferably a sink

2.    Refrigeration – built-in refrigerator drawers, wine cooler, under counter outdoor refrigerator

3.    Cooking Appliances – grill or griddle, pizza oven, smoker

4.    Work Surface – stone, granite, brick, wood – any and all would work

5.    Lighting – task and mood

6.    Storage – watertight space to store outdoor kitchen equipment and table accoutrements

7.    Shade – trellis, umbrellas, portico, roof are all possibilities

8.    Seating – bar stools, table and chairs, lounge furniture

*Pool optional!

We’re looking forward to designing outdoor kitchens for our clients. Just a reminder that if you have an outdoor sink, you need to drain it like you drain your garden hose to prepare for winter. Whatever your style, the team at KitchenVisions would love to design an outdoor kitchen for your pleasure.
