KitchenVisions Wins Two 2019 EM NARI CotY Awards!
KitchenVisions won a Gold CotY Award (Contractor of the Year) in the Residential Kitchen $50,000-$100,000 category for a South End kitchen renovation, and a Silver CotY Award in the Entire House/Condo category for a project in Boston’s Back Bay from the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for 2019. The EM NARI Evening of Excellence event was held on Wednesday, May 1st at the Clarke Showroom in Milford, MA.
“I am honored that our peers in the residential remodeling industry recognized our work with these awards. It was a pleasure to work with our clients and we couldn’t be more thrilled at the outcome,” said Jodi Swartz, Founder and Principal Designer for KitchenVisions.
Gold CotY Win
The navy and white winning kitchen in a 700 square foot South End condo went from ordinary to outstanding with a new design that capitalized on the ceiling height and optimized the limited urban space. Soaring cabinetry with a navy base, bronze handles, floating wooden shelves, and thoughtful elements delighted the young owners.
Silver CotY Win for a Back Bay Condo
A condo renovation in a Boston Back Bay brownstone earned a Silver CotY Award. The KitchenVisions team swapped the location of the original closed off kitchen and living area facing Beacon Street with the guest bedroom that had a view of the Charles River. The sizable new kitchen features a built-in buffet/bar and is open to the dining/living area that has the much-preferred river view. Although the square footage is the same, the condo feels much more spacious with an open concept floor plan. Upstairs in the master bedroom, the KitchenVisions team created a new walk-in closet, and designed built-in cabinetry along the window wall, and alcove shelving on either side of the bed.
